Pre-natal appointment # 3 at 18 weeks along
I had a prenatal appointment on the 9th of July. It went just as all the others I have had have gone other than my Mom and niece got to be there to hear the heartbeat (161bpm). It was pretty typical and routine. Doc measured my belly surprisingly (thought I wasn't far enough along to start that) and the baby is measuring small already but that is ok, he/she has plenty of time to catch up yet. We have the "BIG" ultra-sound scheduled for next week (July 23rd). Eric wants to find out what the baby is but I am still going back and forth on if I want to know. I guess we'll see when we're there on how I'm feeling about it. Just thought I'd do a quick update for now and will sure try to get on after the ultrasound for another quick one. For now that is all :)

Here we go again!
I've been told that I really need to start this up again and really I never meant to stop but as you all know life just gets in the way and here we are and it's June already! Sophia turned 3 in Feb and Seth turned 1 in March. But Lo and Behold at the end of March what do we discover that we are now preggo with #3!! Wow what a surprise! It's already been 3 months since we found that tidbit of news out and I'm sitting at about 14 weeks along now. But enough of that here are some mini updates:
Sophia: Has become her own lil girl and is full of attitude so watch out!! There's no fighting with this one once she's made up her mind. With her attitude has come some independence but not to much of course ;) We all certainly can't wait till she's out of the terrible 3's and hope for our calm lil girl to come back someday in the future!
Seth: Is a crazy climber!! That's all he does and is his main goal when it comes to play now. He's a big boy to at 25lbs 9oz and his height at 29" and 1/4. Still not to many words and is looking to go the way of few words till the age of 2 just like his sister. He's still a very happy boy and smiles all the time and is very easy to get laughing :)
Baby #3: I just had my second pre-natal for baby #3 on Tue June 10th, 2008 (14 weeks along) and everything is going good. The kids and I got to hear the lil ones heart beat which was beating at a whopping 166bpm! Otherwise there really isn't much to say since these appointments are pretty much all the same. We have booked my 20week ultrasound for July 23rd up in Edmonton. We have yet to decide/agree if we should find out the gender of this lil one. Wow! What a long time!
It's been to long and I find the days just passing by and here it is suddenly the middle of October! I created this blog with every intention to keep it up to date a bit more than what I really have been doing. So I guess to update you all the past two months have been pretty dull but yet have kept me busy.
Sophia is still doing great at going on the potty but still needs diapers for nap and bedtime. She's also discovered her independence and tries to find lots of new ways to get in trouble or get away with something when i'm either not looking or have to do something for Seth. Otherwise I think her vocabulary has exploded and find myself counting how many words she uses in a sentence now and she's been making it to 5 words more and more! It's awesome but she still gets frustrated from time to time when we can't understand what she means.
Seth has been growing amazingly and at his 6 months shots he weighed in at 21lbs 15oz, and measured in at 26-7/8"s. He did great for his shots and barely cried I couldn't believe it! He's also been a busy boy and been learning how to sit wonderfully and just yesterday started crawling!! He's now everywhere and we're constantly pulling him away from all the cords. Looks like we'll have to do some extra baby proofing because Sophia was never this much into stuff lol! He's also popping out a tooth and I hope that it comes through for him soon, though it doesn't really seem to be bothering him to much YAY!
As for what is going on in the rest of our lives not to much is happening. We're starting to get stuff ready so we can get our basement together and I really really can't wait. It's amazing how used to extra space you get and when it's gone well ...lets just say I feel cramped in this house! Over the thanksgiving holidays we hosted a small dinner with my parents and my sister and her family. It was my first time ever and I tell you I was nervous but all went very well and everyone didn't keel over from my cooking (with others help too) which is a good thing :)
Well I think I've written a small novel and will sign off now :) I sure hope that I can remember to update this a lil more often, but even so I am constantly updating my pictures even though I don't update the blog. I hope all is well with everyone :)

More Potty Training!
We've made Sophia her own lil chart that she can use to put stickers on for every time she uses the potty! She loves the chart and is doing really well! I don't think it will be to long before we can say that she is potty trained! YAY! So far though we still put a diaper on her for naptime and bedtime. If she continues to wake up dry from her nap though i may just make the diaper for bedtime use only! This has got me so excited since having two in diapers made it seem like all i did all day was change diapers!

Reaching!
Since Seth turned 4 months he's now reaching for things and getting so good at it! He's been reaching to touch my face and grab for toys. It's so neat to see! He's also been trying to inch along, & going in circles on the floor. When he inches though it's funny because he gets his legs under him and scoots on his face, which he really doesn't like. :)
Update on potty training is that it is a go! I've decided that i've had it with diapers and have been putting Sophia in panties. She'll only get diapers during naptime and bedtime for now. So far (we've only been doing it for 24hrs) she's been doing good and has only had 3 accidents. I soo can't wait for her to be trained and hope that this works! I'm sure if I'm persistent and consistent it will :)

Ew Wasps! / Canada Day!
Well we had a fun lil run in with some wasps that decided to make a nest inside our house through a pipe that led to the outside that we had thought we blocked off, but apparently not well enough. Eric my hero managed to get rid of them HURRAY!! Boy do I hate those things!
On Canada Day weekend we decided to head on up to Edmonton to have some fun with the kids. Eric took Sophia to Galaxyland in West Edmonton Mall while Seth and I did some shopping. Seth didn't do so great at the hotel that we spent the night at but Sophia did awesome and slept great in the big bed there :)
One last thing Seth weighed in at a whopping 18lbs 2oz on the 29th. And for those who wondered what I did for my birthday that day; A wonderful friend of mine took me out for lunch and the rest of the day was just as relaxing :) I got many birthday wishes from everyone and their goldfish, and that includes everyone on Erics rig crew which made me feel pretty special :)
